About the role

Role Overview

Team Lead, Commercial Partnerships (UK&I) at Mollie. You will lead the UK and International (UK&I) channel partners function by combining people leadership with hands-on commercial execution. The role reports to the Director of Commercial Partnerships and sits at the center of scaling initiatives.

What You’ll Ship

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing partner sales team of 3 (clear priorities, strong execution, individual growth)
  • Own and strengthen partner relationships across UK&I, including stakeholder management, negotiations, and escalations
  • Partner with sales and marketing leadership to build the merchant acquisition strategy via partners for the UK market, applying commercial judgment and identifying whitespace opportunities
  • Maintain team momentum and continuity across key commercial priorities during a critical growth period (including Mollie’s integration of GoCardless)
  • Drive pipeline creation and own a partner marketing budget to acquire and activate partners

What You’ll Bring

  • 2–4+ years of people management experience (coaching, performance management, and developing team members)
  • Proven experience managing partners to drive commercial success, with strong stakeholder management in an international context
  • Background in financial services, payments, fintech, or ecommerce
  • Commercial negotiation experience, including business cases and deal review/approval documentation for senior sign-off
  • Strong analytical capability, comfortable with net revenue projections and creating a performance culture while holding the team accountable to targets
