About the role

Role Overview

Talent Acquisition Specialist (100% Remote, United States)

You will lead end-to-end recruiting, sourcing and securing exceptional candidates for competitive and difficult-to-fill roles. This is a senior-level role with strong independence expectations, and it may grow into a Talent Acquisition or Hiring Manager position based on performance, leadership, and business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting: job intake through offer acceptance
  • Partner with leadership and hiring managers to define hiring needs
  • Create clear, accurate job descriptions
  • Source candidates via LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, and professional networks
  • Identify and engage passive candidates
  • Screen applicants and conduct structured interviews
  • Coordinate interviews with candidates and hiring teams
  • Evaluate candidates for skills, experience, and organizational alignment
  • Handle salary discussions and negotiate offers
  • Maintain a positive, professional candidate experience
  • Build talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
  • Maintain accurate candidate records in the applicant tracking system
  • Track recruiting metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, offer-acceptance rate, quality of hire)
  • Ensure hiring practices comply with employment laws and company policies
  • Improve recruiting processes using data, automation, and AI-powered tools

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of full-cycle recruiting/talent acquisition experience
  • Experience recruiting for senior-level, specialized, or difficult-to-fill positions
  • Proven sourcing experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other platforms
  • Experience screening candidates and conducting professional interviews
  • Experience working directly with executives and hiring managers
  • Experience creating recruiting strategies and building candidate pipelines
  • Experience negotiating competitive compensation packages
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems and recruiting technology
  • Experience tracking and reporting recruiting performance metrics
  • Ability to manage multiple open roles and competing deadlines
  • Proven success working independently in a remote environment

  • Strong ownership, urgency, and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and strong interviewing/evaluation/negotiation abilities
  • Strong organization and time management
  • Comfortable making decisions and solving problems independently
  • Ability to handle sensitive/confidential information
