Talent Acquisition Specialist

Role Overview

Telecon is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support an assigned client group. This is a fully remote role with working hours aligned to Pacific Time to support West Coast operations.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting: job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and offer preparation
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all US candidate recruitment inquiries
• Manage candidate experience with timely feedback and status updates
• Partner with hiring managers to craft and communicate a compelling value proposition
• Provide recruitment guidance to leaders and stay agile to meet changing business needs
• Develop and execute recruitment strategies: identify talent needs and source candidates through multiple channels
• Use Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and job boards to source candidates efficiently
• Leverage sourcing tools for both active and passive candidates
• Build and maintain a network of contacts and online recruiting resources to find qualified candidates
• Conduct and administer background checks for US hires

Requirements

• 2–5 years of recruitment experience, preferably in construction, field operations, or skilled trades
• Familiarity with Washington State laws
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Strong communication and influencing skills across all organizational levels
• Ability to think creatively and adapt sourcing approaches
• Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a dynamic environment
• Growth mindset: open to feedback and motivated to learn
