About the role
Role Overview
Talent Acquisition / Recruitment Operations Specialist (Senior Specialist) supporting talent acquisition, recruitment market research & analytics, and content operations across North America. The role blends recruiting execution, data-driven market intelligence, and creation/optimization of social media content.
Responsibilities
Recruitment Support (40%)
- Manage job postings, resume screening, candidate sourcing, and build/maintain talent pools.
- Conduct initial candidate outreach and screening interviews; assess qualifications, work experience, compensation expectations, and role fit.
- Coordinate end-to-end interview scheduling and workflow (stakeholders, feedback collection, candidate follow-up).
- Support business development for U.S.-based clients: outreach, needs assessment, consultation, and preliminary partnership discussions.
- Help with ad hoc projects and administrative tasks to support team priorities.
Recruitment Market Research & Data Analytics (30%)
- Maintain recruitment dashboards; deliver weekly reports and periodic analytics summaries.
- Provide timely market intelligence for executive search and recruitment initiatives.
- Monitor North American talent market trends (hiring demand, compensation benchmarks, emerging roles, industry developments).
- Perform industry/company research and produce structured analyses (talent mapping, skill requirements, hiring preferences, compensation studies).
- Turn research into data-driven insights and create engaging content for Xiaohongshu (RED) and other social channels.
Content Operations & Production (30%)
- Support growth of Xiaohongshu (RED) and TikTok accounts (positioning, content planning, brand/IP development).
- Independently write content, create visual assets, and produce/edit short-form videos.
- Track content performance metrics and optimize content strategy, publishing cadence, and audience engagement.
Requirements
Hard Skills
- Strong candidate sourcing and assessment (skills/experience/competencies, communication, cultural fit).
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas, dashboards, data analysis).
- Proficiency in at least one: SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Python, or R.
- Hands-on experience launching/managing Xiaohongshu (RED) and/or TikTok channels; understanding of algorithms, audience behavior, and content strategy.
- Excellent Chinese writing and copywriting; ability to create engaging, highly shareable content.
- Graphic design and video editing tool proficiency for strong visual storytelling.
- Research, information gathering, and synthesis to produce structured, actionable insights.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship restrictions.
- Knowledge of the North American employment landscape (H-1B, OPT, Green Card processes, and state-specific employment regulations).
Soft Skills
- Highly self-motivated and able to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional environment with proactive communication.
