About the role
Role Overview
The Talent Acquisition & Development Specialist I supports the end-to-end employee lifecycle—from attracting candidates to onboarding and learning & development (L&D). In a fast-growing, mission-driven environment, you’ll combine recruiting operations, candidate experience, HR administration, and learning support.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate interview scheduling across multiple time zones (calendars, availability, meeting logistics) and manage candidate communications.
- Act as a primary point of contact for candidates, ensuring a professional, responsive, and inclusive experience.
- Support recruiting operations, including:
- candidate sourcing and outreach
- job posting updates
- applicant tracking and initial screening conversations
- requisition management and intake meeting support
- interview coordination and hiring workflow coordination
- Support onboarding, including:
- offer preparation
- background check coordination
- equipment logistics
- orientation scheduling
- new hire follow-ups
- Coordinate learning & development programs by managing training schedules, materials, enrollment records, attendance, and program logistics.
- Maintain accurate ATS/HR documentation and support reporting.
- Compile and analyze talent metrics such as time-to-fill, interview volume, scheduling efficiency, and training completion rates.
- Use data-driven insights to improve recruiting, onboarding, L&D, and performance processes.
- Handle confidential employee and candidate information with professionalism and discretion while supporting compliant hiring practices.
Requirements
- 1–4 years of experience in recruiting coordination, HR operations, or talent management support (corporate or agency environment).
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent interviews/meetings and complex scheduling.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Familiarity with ATS, HRIS, and scheduling tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Experience handling sensitive and confidential information responsibly.
- Understanding of DEIB principles in hiring.
Nice to Have
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, or passive candidate outreach.
