About the role
Role Overview
Redwire is seeking a Supply Chain Compliance Manager to support the Director of Global Supply Chain by building and owning the organization’s procurement compliance infrastructure across a multi-site supply chain. The role designs frameworks, systems, and internal controls to succeed in CPSR (Contractor Purchasing System Review) and DCMA surveillance, while applying hands-on procurement judgment to ensure controls work day-to-day.
Responsibilities
- Own the enterprise procurement compliance program, establishing governance, policies, internal controls, and operational command media ensuring FAR/DFARS and customer flowdown compliance.
- Lead CPSR readiness end-to-end: compile the data universe, build audit-ready documentation, coordinate DCMA engagement, and drive corrective actions to closure.
- Stand up CPSR-certified purchasing systems and process architecture, including:
- File documentation standards
- Price and cost analysis
- Competition
- Sole-source justification
- Terms, flowdowns, and documentation built to scale
- Build and maintain compliance frameworks for: Berry Amendment, TAA/BAA, ITAR/EAR, NDAA 889, and counterfeit/EEE parts avoidance, embedding requirements into supplier qualification and PO workflows.
- Direct government/contractual reporting required under flowdowns with accurate, timely, fully compliant, audit-ready submissions.
- Apply procurement expertise to policy and operational execution, including structuring supplier terms, long-term agreements, and flowdown language that holds up under audit.
- Partner with buyers and category leads on supplier selection, negotiation, and price/cost analysis, translating regulations into practical purchasing steps.
- Drive ERP (Odoo) data integrity and configuration so procurement transactions capture compliance evidence by design (per-program traceability and demand pegging).
- Assess supplier performance and risk through a compliance lens, including:
- Counterfeit risk
- Cyber and CMMC
- Foreign ownership/control
- Export exposure
- Develop mitigation and contingency plans
- Serve as the primary procurement compliance resource for Executive Leadership, Legal, Contracts, Quality, and Supply Chain on regulatory requirements and risk mitigation.
- Lead cross-functional compliance initiatives (e.g., compliance councils/forums) to strengthen audit readiness without unnecessary bureaucracy.
- Develop and deliver compliance training on FAR/DFARS and related requirements.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Strong expertise in FAR and DFARS and government flowdown compliance.
- Significant buy-side procurement experience with the ability to engineer compliance into purchasing operations.
- Proven ability to lead CPSR readiness and drive corrective actions to closure.
- Experience building compliance frameworks across ITAR/EAR, NDAA 889, and counterfeit/EEE parts avoidance.
Preferred / Nice-to-haves
- Hands-on experience with ERP configuration for procurement compliance evidence (specifically Odoo mentioned).
- Experience with compliance considerations including CMMC, cyber requirements, and export exposure.
