About the role
Role Overview
The Strategy & Operations Manager will partner with finance and cross-functional leaders to drive strategic planning, forecasting, and operational excellence in a fast-growing technology environment. The role blends financial analysis with operational execution to generate actionable insights that influence pricing, go-to-market strategy, and product investments.
Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, and reporting across revenue, expenses, and cash flow
- Build, maintain, and improve financial models to support business planning and strategy
- Perform strategic analyses for pricing, go-to-market performance, product launches, market opportunities, and growth initiatives
- Partner with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Finance to identify opportunities and improve operational efficiency
- Support the operational foundation of embedded finance products (business models, partnerships, growth opportunities)
- Develop recommendations by combining business insights, financial data, and market analysis
- Create and improve reporting frameworks, dashboards, and processes to increase business visibility
- Use Excel/Google Sheets, SQL, and BI tools to gather, analyze, and communicate insights
- Drive automation and process improvements across financial planning and revenue operations
- Support corporate development initiatives (market research, strategic opportunities, diligence, investor reporting)
- Prepare executive presentations and communicate recommendations to stakeholders
Requirements
- 5–7 years of professional experience, including 2–3 years in a high-growth SaaS/technology startup environment
- Experience in finance/business operations; preferred background includes investment banking, private equity, management consulting, corporate strategy, or business operations
- Strong financial modeling for revenue, expense, and cash flow forecasting
- Advanced analytical skills; ability to independently collect, manipulate, and interpret data
- Hands-on experience with Excel/Google Sheets, SQL, and tools such as Looker, Salesforce, Stripe (or similar)
- Ability to turn ambiguous business questions into structured analyses and actionable recommendations
- Strong communication skills to influence stakeholders
- Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally
