Strategic Finance Analyst (Full Remote)

Join Benchling as a Strategic Finance Analyst to support the company’s long-term growth and strategic vision. You’ll work cross-functionally to improve processes, analyze financial performance, and translate insights into business decisions.

Key Missions

Support the monthly and quarterly close process.
Own budgeting and forecasting activities.
Drive expense management and analysis.
Collaborate with the Strategic Finance and Accounting teams on month-end close and forecast cycles.
Perform headcount and expense analyses.
Analyze financial results to identify key trends, risks, and opportunities; communicate insights clearly.

Profile / Requirements

Strong communication skills; ability to distill and articulate complex data into decisions.
Highly analytical and detail-oriented, with strong aptitude for complex financial modeling and working with large datasets.
2–4 years experience across strategic finance, FP&A, investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or consulting.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or equivalent.
Exceptional work ethic and mindset focused on process development and scalability.
