Role overview

As a Strategic Finance Analyst at AirGarage, you’ll use data-driven analysis to evaluate strategic opportunities, assess investment viability, and collaborate with external stakeholders.

Key missions

• Analyze historical and forecasted financial performance of parking station properties to determine investment viability.
• Evaluate risks tied to properties, contract terms, and operational considerations before acquisition or partnership decisions.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders (e.g., real estate executives and investment professionals) on data analysis models.

Requirements

• Client-facing: comfortable engaging external partners, property owners, and investors; able to deliver polished communication in high-stakes discussions.
• Exceptional financial modeling and analytical skills with comfort working on large datasets in spreadsheets and databases.
• Strong synthesis skills to turn messy, potentially contradictory data into clear, actionable insights.
• SQL proficiency required to be impactful independently without relying on Data teammates.
• Education: bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Experience: 3–5 years in management consulting, investment banking, strategic finance, or comparable real estate investment roles.
• Ability to apply business judgment and make reasonable assumptions quickly.
