Staff Technical Program Manager (Platform)

Role Overview

Join Sentry as a Staff Technical Program Manager (Platform). In this high-visibility role, you will drive strategic execution, improve delivery health with data, and manage capacity, dependencies, and risk across the Platform organization.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to translate priorities into clear, measurable plans and drive strategic execution
• Build metrics and dashboards to reflect delivery confidence, risk, and engineering health for Platform
• Create visibility into resourcing, cross-team dependencies, and constraints to align investment to highest-impact priorities
• Work closely with senior engineering leaders, the VP of Platform Engineering, and partner teams across Engineering, Product, and Design

Requirements

• Strong drive for technically complex, cross-functional work; focused on making execution smoother and more predictable at scale
• Ability to turn ambiguity into operating clarity through strong rhythms, sharp plans, and measurable outcomes
• Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional programs in a matrixed organization spanning engineering, product, and business
• Demonstrated ability to establish structure and operating cadence that teams adopt and sustain
• 8+ years of Technical Program Management experience in a high-growth technology company, with exposure to platform, infrastructure, SRE, or security engineering
• Strong analytical skills; builds systems to track delivery health and uses data to drive decisions
• Experience improving incident management, on-call processes, or operational reliability programs
• Exceptional written and verbal communication; produces high-signal reporting for senior/executive audiences and engages deeply with engineers
