About the role
Role Overview
Staff / Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to lead development of a greenfield cloud-native SaaS web platform. The platform is built using Python microservices with a React frontend, deployed on AWS and running in Kubernetes.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement new features for a cloud-native SaaS platform
- Develop Python-based microservices and deploy them in Kubernetes on AWS
- Build and extend frontend capabilities using React
- Partner with tech leadership on system architecture and major feature development
- Mentor engineers and guide development best practices
- Own DevOps responsibilities including CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and production monitoring
Requirements
- 8+ years professional software development experience
- 5+ years building backend services in Python
- 3+ years building frontend applications in React
- 3+ years working with CI/CD pipelines, production systems, and debugging live applications
- Experience designing microservices architectures
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure
Nice-to-Haves (From Stack/Context)
- Experience with event-driven systems
- Familiarity with infrastructure automation using Terraform or AWS CDK
- Experience supporting GitHub Actions-based CI/CD
