Staff Software Engineer

Role Overview

Staff Backend Engineer to scale a high-growth startup’s core backend infrastructure and data platform. You will own highly scalable backend services and help ensure production reliability while tackling distributed systems and large-scale data infrastructure challenges.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale backend services primarily in Go (GoLang)
• Own critical data infrastructure, including:
  • PostgreSQL architecture
  • Production data migrations
  • Optimization for large-scale workloads

Requirements

• Deep expertise with Go, distributed systems, Kubernetes, and building highly available production backend systems
• Extensive hands-on experience operating PostgreSQL at scale
• Strong systems mindset across infrastructure, cloud platforms, and observability
• Ability to step into adjacent areas as needed (e.g., Python-based ML systems or supporting infrastructure)
