Staff Software Engineer

Role Overview

Join Grafana Labs as a Staff Integrations Engineer, working at the intersection of Revenue Operations (RevOps) and internal software engineering. You will design and deliver integrations across the go-to-market stack, build internal GTM tooling, and serve as a technical anchor for a fast-moving team.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and own end-to-end integrations across Salesforce, Snowflake/BigQuery, Slack, Grafana, and billing & finance systems.
• Design and ship internal applications that replace point SaaS solutions to reduce cost, consolidate workflows, and increase leverage.
• Define technical direction for GTM data sharing, including canonical data models, source-of-truth ownership, and sync strategies.

Requirements

• Expert-level Python (production-quality code; not just scripts).
• Experience integrating billing/finance/quote-to-cash systems (e.g., Stripe, NetSuite, Zuora, or similar).
• Proven experience building internal tooling that reduces reliance on commercial SaaS.
• Ability to work autonomously in ambiguous environments (scope work and drive to completion).
• Strong communication skills; can translate technical tradeoffs for non-technical GTM/finance stakeholders.
• Familiarity with GTM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Gainsight, or similar.
• Deep hands-on experience with Salesforce (data model, APIs, automation) and at least one cloud data warehouse (Snowflake or BigQuery).
• Strong understanding of data modeling, API design, event-driven architectures, and ETL/ELT patterns.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience focused on systems integration and/or internal platform development.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar standards for connecting AI systems to data and tools.
• Experience with workflow automation tools such as n8n, Workato, Prefect, Clay, PhantomBuster, Apify, Dust, or similar.
• Experience in open source or developer-focused SaaS.
• Experience automating workflows in B2B SaaS RevOps/GTM (sales, customer success, or marketing).
• Experience with vector databases / retrieval pipelines (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, ChromaDB, pgvector).
• Exposure to observability tools for AI systems (e.g., LangSmith, Weights & Biases, evaluation/logging frameworks).
• Frontend experience (e.g., React, Slack Block Kit, dashboard components) to build user-facing interfaces for AI tools.
