Role Overview

BairesDev is seeking a Staff Software Engineer (Full Stack) to build platform products that other engineers and teams depend on day to day. The role focuses on Node.js + React in a TypeScript-first environment and involves cross-team technical influence, including collaboration with AI/ML teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and build full-stack platform features using Node.js and React in a Kubernetes-native microservices environment
• Drive architecture decisions to ensure scalability and long-term maintainability
• Establish and promote TypeScript best practices across frontend and backend codebases
• Collaborate with AI/ML teams to deliver platform capabilities for enterprise-scale workflows
• Lead technical initiatives across teams, shaping how platform products evolve
• Mentor engineers and support a culture of engineering quality and continuous improvement

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in IT roles
• 5+ years with Node.js and React as a primary full-stack combination
• Strong TypeScript depth and experience with tooling such as webpack, Babel, or NestJS
• Hands-on experience building Kubernetes-native platforms/services
• Exposure to AI/ML product context (any level)
• Demonstrated ability to lead and influence technical direction across multiple teams
• Advanced English proficiency

• Direct experience owning platform capabilities that enable other teams to move faster (implied by platform-enablement focus)
