About the role

Role Overview

Staff Software Engineer, Frontend (Trading) Build core trading flows across spot trading, perpetuals, and prediction markets. Own end-to-end frontend execution with strong fullstack ownership from concept to production across web, mobile, and browser extension surfaces.

Responsibilities

Feature development: Own and deliver features on web and mobile, including Phantom Extension, Phantom Terminal, and the mobile app.
New initiatives & products: Lead efforts to add support for other blockchains and launch complementary products or infrastructure.
User & developer interfacing: Support end-users and developers building on Phantom; collect feedback to guide product direction.
Team building: Help raise the bar through hiring and fostering a culture of high standards.
Collaborate with product, design, and trading teams to deliver intuitive discovery experiences.

Requirements

5+ years full-time software engineering experience
React / TypeScript / React Native
Bachelors degree in CS or related field or equivalent practical experience
Demonstrated interest in open and community-driven platforms
English proficiency
Experience working with trading systems

Nice to Have

Strong drive/agency and comfort shipping in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
Interest in building for emerging markets and shaping asset discovery experiences
