Staff Software Engineer, Frontend (Trading)

Role Overview

Staff Frontend Engineer (Trading) focused on building core trading flows across spot trading, perpetuals, and prediction markets. You’ll own frontend development across web, mobile, and a browser extension, with fullstack ownership from concept through production.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship core trading features across:
  • Web (e.g., Phantom Terminal)
  • Mobile app
  • Browser extension (Phantom Extension)
• Lead initiatives to:
  • Add support for additional blockchains
  • Launch complementary products or infrastructure
• Interface with users and developers by supporting builders, collecting feedback, and using it to inform product direction
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and trading teams to deliver intuitive discovery experiences
• Raise the bar on the team through hiring and fostering a culture of high standards

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-time software engineering experience
• React / TypeScript / React Native experience
• Strong frontend expertise with the ability to own work end-to-end
• Experience with trading systems
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related) or equivalent practical experience
• English language proficiency
• Demonstrated interest in open and community-driven platforms

• Mobile expertise and comfort operating across web + extension + mobile
• Interest in emerging markets and helping users discover the next generation of assets
