Staff Software Engineer

Role overview

Join Cint as a Staff Software Engineer in the Supply domain. You will shape the technical direction of the platform by defining architecture modernization standards, mentoring engineers, and partnering with product managers.

Key missions

• Define patterns and standards to guide the transition from legacy systems to a modern architecture across the domain.
• Collaborate on the design and implementation of patterns for legacy displacement/migration, ensuring migrations occur without downtime.
• Mentor mid-level and senior engineers by improving quality through design reviews and increasing the team’s collective technical depth.

Requirements

• Quality obsessed: code isn’t “finished” without strong test coverage including Unit, Integration, and E2E.
• Observability advocate: build systems that report performance and health proactively.
• Backend expert: deep backend engineering experience (typically 10+ years) and comfort switching between languages.
• Product mindset: understand business impact of architectural decisions.
• Systems thinker: experience with event-driven systems, breaking down monoliths, and managing system migrations.
• Collaborative mindset with willingness to mentor and share knowledge.

• React practical expertise (backend is the priority).
