Staff Product Owner (Finance & Business Operations) (Full remote) You will define product strategy, roadmap, and execution for capabilities that support planning, forecasting, modeling, and analytics enablement. You will work with business and cross-functional partners to improve workflows, decision quality, and access to better data and analytical capabilities, including delivering practical AI use cases.

Responsibilities

  • Define product strategy, roadmap, and execution for planning, forecasting, modeling, and analytics enablement
  • Partner with Finance, Commercial Operations, Data Science/Analytics, IT, and Engineering to improve:
    • workflow efficiency
    • quality of decisions
    • operational efficiency
  • Identify and deliver practical AI use cases that improve:
    • workflow speed
    • decision support
    • exception handling
    • information generation
    • team productivity
  • Engage with stakeholders to identify needs, opportunities, and measurable outcomes
  • Validate AI outputs with strong judgment, risk management, and accountability for recommendations

Requirements

  • 12+ years of product management experience; 3+ years in product roles in a global organization
  • Demonstrated strong judgment in validating AI outputs and managing AI-related risk
  • Significant experience with financial planning systems, analytics platforms, or adjacent internal products
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, forecasting, business operations, modeling, and decision-support workflows
  • Experience enabling analytics / data products / systems for planning and performance management
  • Ability to move between strategic thinking and hands-on execution
  • Proven hands-on use of AI in real business workflows
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management across technical and non-technical teams
  • Understanding of Agile and iterative product development
