Staff Product Owner (Collaboration & Productivity)

Role Overview

Join Pinterest as a Staff Product Owner in IT Employee Experience. You will own the strategy and roadmap for Pinterest’s Collaboration & Productivity portfolio, supporting 9,000+ employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Define product strategy, set priorities, and drive the portfolio roadmap for Collaboration & Productivity.
• Partner with IT Systems Engineering to execute decisions at platform scale and improve operational efficiency.
• Engage stakeholders across business verticals to:
  • identify problems,
  • design solutions,
  • deliver measurable outcomes.
• Lead and manage SaaS vendor relationships.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience for enterprise Collaboration & Productivity applications in a global organization.
• Strong technical-business fluency and experience translating business needs into technology solutions (e.g., gap analysis, current/future-state processes).
• Ability to operate at both:
  • strategic level (vision, roadmaps, KPIs, change management), and
  • tactical level (data analysis, problem-solving, hands-on execution).
• Proven track record influencing without authority, proactively communicating/prioritizing, and mentoring peers.
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences, including VP/executive stakeholders.
• Degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Information Systems, Business) or equivalent experience.

• Hands-on experience applying AI in real workflows, with:
  • critical evaluation (testing, source-checking, data validation),
  • protection of sensitive data,
  • avoiding over-reliance while remaining accountable for decisions and deliverables.
• Experience with enterprise tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, Confluence.
