About the role

Role Overview

Staff Product Manager, Vision at Motive (remote). You will join the Product team to own a suite of integrated, intelligent solutions for operators, fleets, and partners. The role focuses on launching new product lines and developing AI products that solve hard operational challenges across multiple verticals.

Responsibilities

Drive 0-to-1 product development for new AI products: from conception and strategy through successful market launch
Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, including long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap
Conduct deep market and customer discovery to identify high-value unmet needs uniquely solvable by Motive’s AI capabilities
Define clear product requirements across AI models, edge hardware integration, and supporting software features; manage trade-offs with Engineering and AI teams
Lead GTM strategy with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, including positioning, pricing, and enablement for adoption
Serve as the primary voice of the customer and market, working with early adopters to validate prototypes, gather feedback, and ensure product-market fit
Build and influence a high-performing cross-functional team across Engineering, AI R&D, Design, and Operations (without direct reporting authority)
Define and track key product and business metrics (e.g., precision, recall, adoption rate, revenue) to measure success and guide investment decisions

Requirements

7+ years of experience in Product Management
Strong customer empathy and a habit of working backward from customer needs
Technical acumen and ability to translate operational problems into product requirements for AI + software + edge hardware
Proven experience delivering commercially successful software products
Data-driven decision-making using hard metrics to support assumptions
Clear, confident communication in verbal and written formats

Experience launching entirely new product lines (0-to-1) and building AI-enabled solutions across diverse verticals
