Role Overview

Staff Product Manager, MarTech at Headspace

Own the strategy and execution for a single, cohesive, personalized member experience across all marketing and lifecycle channels—driving acquisition, deeper engagement, and long-term retention. Lead outbound MarTech capabilities with a strong focus on data, experimentation, and the technical infrastructure required for high-scale, context-aware communication.

Responsibilities

  • Craft cohesive member journeys: Own product strategy for integrating and orchestrating lifecycle marketing channels (in-app, push, email, SMS) to deliver seamless experiences.
  • Enable member-centric growth: Define and manage the data foundation and technical infrastructure for understanding member behavior and powering personalization, measurement, and CAPI implementation.
  • Orchestrate member engagement: Lead product development for Lifecycle Automation, including trigger mapping, intelligent channel choice, and frequency capping to avoid overwhelming members.
  • Optimize the member experience:
    • Lead Experimentation & Optimization (A/B/n testing) and continuous learning.
    • Build Incrementality Testing using holdout groups.
  • Ensure member trust & accessibility: Own operational metrics such as deliverability and privacy compliance, including sender reputation, consent ledger integrity, and improving mobile push delivery rates.
  • Deeply understand and serve audiences: Enhance outbound personalization with dynamic content and improve audience segmentation (e.g., Power Users, At-Risk Users).
  • Drive cross-functional impact: Partner with Core & Personalization Product, Engineering, Data Science, Performance & Lifecycle Marketing, and Legal to deliver the MarTech roadmap.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management.
  • Understanding of marketing automation, segmentation, and the technical infrastructure for high-scale outbound communication.
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills to translate business problems into product roadmaps and detailed specifications.
  • Excellent communication skills to influence and align stakeholders.

Nice to Have
