Staff Product Manager (AI)

Own and grow a core product area for Brightwheel’s B2B SaaS platform, partnering closely with the CEO, CTO, engineering, and design to deliver measurable customer and business impact while integrating AI across the product.

Responsibilities

• Own strategy, roadmap, and execution for a portion of the core SaaS product.
• Balance 0→1 product bets with high-leverage incremental improvements.
• Drive AI integration in ways that improve outcomes for providers and families.
• Define and track success metrics, monitoring performance and results.
• Partner with engineering and design to ship with urgency, unblock teams, and keep the pod focused.
• Communicate progress and plans to leadership/executives.

Requirements

• AI-native product manager who works in a high-ownership environment and can truly own a core product area end-to-end.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with engineering and design; creates clarity and momentum.
• Comfortable with ambiguity, decisive under pressure, and focused on customer impact.
• Proven ability to prioritize effectively: know what to pursue, what to cut, and why.
• Deep comfort with product metrics, experimentation, and funnel analysis (SQL is a plus).
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including with executive audiences.
• 5+ years of product management experience with meaningful ownership of a core product area.

Nice to have

• B2B SaaS background, especially with complex operational workflows.
• Experience building and shipping AI-powered product features.
• Use of AI tools daily (AI fluency in day-to-day PM workflow).
• Strong metrics-driven experimentation and discovery-to-execution across multiple functions.
