Staff Product Manager — Shared Services (Full Remote)

Join Boulevard as a Staff Product Manager for Shared Services, owning the platform foundation that every product team builds on. You’ll drive enterprise readiness, connect product teams, define and measure success, and own the roadmap—shaping what Boulevard can build, how fast, and how securely.

Key Responsibilities

Own the platform foundation (so teams don’t have to reinvent primitives like authentication, eventing, compliance, and AI infrastructure)
Drive enterprise readiness by partnering with Sales and Solution Engineering to identify business obstacles and remove them with platform capabilities
Develop deep understanding of product team needs and translate them into a coherent, prioritized shared-services roadmap
Define success metrics for infrastructure and use them to sharpen roadmap decisions

Requirements

Technical fluency: can discuss authentication protocols, event-driven architectures, GraphQL, and access control models confidently in architecture reviews
Metrics mindset: define and track success for infrastructure (e.g., developer velocity, platform adoption, reliability, enterprise capability delivery)
Platform PM experience: 8–10 years in product management, with significant time at Staff/Principal level owning shared services (e.g., auth, permissions, audit logging, eventing)
Enterprise execution: translate enterprise requirements into platform decisions that help move deals; build security, access control, and compliance capabilities
AI platform depth: experience building or contributing to foundational AI infrastructure primitives in SaaS (e.g., agent authentication, rate limiting, audit logging for AI workflows)
Cross-functional leadership: influence multiple teams, maintain shared vision, and create lasting alignment
Enterprise security & compliance: understanding of how frameworks translate into platform requirements (SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI)
AI tool fluency: use AI tools to accelerate discovery, sharpen tradeoff analysis, and communicate technical decisions
Experience in vertical SaaS, services-industry platforms, or multi-tenant B2B environments

Nice-to-haves

Prior ownership of additional shared primitives beyond the examples (e.g., broader governance, auditability, enterprise controls)
Experience strengthening platform capabilities specifically to improve enterprise deal execution
