Staff Product Designer

About the role

Join our team as a Staff Product Designer, where you'll build working prototypes using AI tools and code. You'll have a deep understanding of AI systems and their behavior, and you'll stay close to the field by following new work in AI. You'll shape how design influences system behavior, spend time with users to find real problems, and design for the full system. You should have at least 6 years of experience in product design and a portfolio showcasing your work. Key missions: Construire des prototypes fonctionnels en utilisant des outils d'IA et du code, en les connectant à des systèmes réels pour aider l'ingénierie à avancer plus rapidement.. Comprendre le comportement des systèmes d'IA, avoir de l'expérience avec le prompting, l'évaluation et les boucles de rétroaction, et être capable d'expliquer les erreurs.. Collaborer étroitement avec les ingénieurs pour faire avancer le travail en production, en utilisant des outils comme Claude ou Cursor pour tester et affiner les idées. Profile: - This role is for a designer who gets better by building. You use real work to learn, refine, and raise the bar - Have worked with messy data, edge cases, and real workflows - Bring strong visual and interaction design craft - Understand prompting, evaluation, and model quality in practice - Follow AI research and enjoy working with highly technical teams - Use tools like Claude or Cursor to test and refine ideas - Build prototypes using AI tools - Know how to design human in the loop systems and feedback flows - Work closely with engineers and help move work into production - Experience with AI, data, or complex systems - 6+ years in product design - Portfolio with shipped work or working prototypes
