Join Miro as a Staff Product Designer (Prototypes). You’ll set the long-term design strategy for Miro’s Prototyping product, help shape the future of the Prototype offering, and explore how generative AI can transform product development and user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the long-term design strategy for Miro’s prototyping product, setting the direction and raising the bar for design excellence.
• Explore and apply AI opportunities to improve prototyping experiences and innovate the way users turn ideas into reality.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners across product management, UX design, and engineering to solve complex technical challenges.
• Ensure smooth transitions across different modes of use.
• Mentor and support other designers, demonstrating staff/principal-level ownership.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product design experience.
• Deep understanding of UX practices, including information architecture and user-centered design.
• “AI-native” mindset: view AI as a fundamental shift in product development (not just a feature).
• Proactive, flexible, and comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating user-focused product strategy and measurable impact on both user experience and business goals.
• At least 2–3 years operating at Staff/Principal level, with proven ownership of complex initiatives.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate design value and collaborate effectively across teams.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience designing in B2B SaaS or AI-focused roles.
• Experience working on design tools, editors, or creative software.
• Familiarity with AI design tooling and leading the charge in AI-enabled design.
