About the role
Role: Staff Product Designer - Content Intelligence
You’ll join Netflix’s Content and Business Product organization to lead design across the enterprise content business vertical. The role blends hands-on product design with cross-functional influence to shape the vision, systems, and workflows that content executives and operational teams rely on.
What you’ll do
- Embed in key authoring and/or horizontal initiatives to ensure strong system alignment.
- Own the long-term vision and strategy for scaled localization workflows.
- Partner with cross-disciplinary teams across Enterprise/Consumer Design, Content Design, Product Management, Engineering, Data & User Research, and Operations.
- Drive the full design process: user research, ideation, concept development, validation, workflow diagramming, prototyping, final visual design, and implementation support.
- Conduct user research and exploration to deeply understand needs.
- Create pixel-perfect, emotionally compelling mockups and end-to-end prototypes.
- Run usability testing and iterate based on user feedback.
- Partner with PMs to craft systematic solutions connecting user needs, data, business goals, and business strategy.
- Partner with engineers to deliver products/features within technical and timeline constraints.
- Facilitate collaborative sessions with stakeholders at all levels.
- Advance product design discipline through mentorship and organizational influence (including Hawkins Design System and Enterprise XD strategy).
Must-haves
- 10+ years experience as a Product Designer (or equivalent), with a strong portfolio covering consumer and enterprise product design.
- Deep cross-platform expertise designing for mobile, TV, and/or web, with cohesive cross-device experiences.
- Proven ability to solve complex discovery and trust challenges in high-scale, evolving environments.
- Strong communication skills to build alignment and tell compelling design stories.
- Exceptional visual design sensibility, storytelling, and user-first mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Proactive experience connecting needs and work across the organization.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience designing AI-driven or data-informed user experiences (implied by the role’s focus).
