Role overview

Join Airbnb as a Staff Platform Manager (Quality) to lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution for Airbnb’s quality tooling platform. You’ll partner with engineering, operations, and cross-functional teams to deliver a high-quality, intuitive experience for Community Support Quality Analysts, Team Leads, and Operations Managers.

Key missions

• Lead the quality tooling platform strategy, roadmap, and execution.
• Drive complex quality capability decisions, balancing speed-to-value with long-term best solutions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver a quality platform that raises the bar for agent performance.
• Connect quality to the broader agent lifecycle and enable scale through technology.
• Use data and evaluation to continually improve product performance and business outcomes.

Profile / requirements

• Deep expertise with ML or AI-powered products.
• Proven ability to independently drive model improvements, including:
  • performance trade-offs
  • evaluation frameworks
  • automation quality, in close partnership with engineering
• Ability to adapt communication for technical and non-technical audiences; quickly absorb technical concepts and explain them clearly.
• Experience delivering in cross-functional organizations with multiple stakeholders in ambiguous, interdependent settings.
• Proactive, self-motivated, results-oriented.
• Passion for Airbnb’s mission and values.

Experience

• 9+ years of product management experience.
• Experience in quality, operations, or data-driven tooling is a plus.
• Experience making strategic capability decisions in fast-moving product environments.
