Staff MLOps Engineer (AI/ML Platform)

Role overview

Join Cint as a Staff MLOps Engineer (AI/ML Platform). You will own the AI/ML platform with a focus on supporting the Synthetic Data Platform, assessing the current setup, building the shared platform, and mentoring engineers.

Key missions

• Assess and decide on the current AI/ML pipeline by auditing training and serving.
• Choose what to build vs. rebuild.
• Build a shared AI/ML platform including:
  • training infrastructure
  • experiment tracking
  • model registry
  • model serving
  • monitoring
• Own the full ML lifecycle, from data ingestion and feature processing to annotation workflows, enabling rapid iteration for Data Scientists.

Profile / requirements

• Staff-level systems and platform thinking: treat the ML platform as a product with real users (your ML team), design APIs, write docs, and measure adoption.
• Deep ML platform expertise at scale:
  • strong opinions on feature stores, model registries, serving patterns
  • understand and implement ML observability.
• Commercial and roadmap-literate: translate business priorities into a platform roadmap and justify platform investment to VP/C-suite.
• Pragmatic buy-vs-build: know when to use managed services vs building in-house.
• Mature engineering leadership: very senior role; set standards in approach and behavior.
• Technical leadership & mentorship: lead through standards/RFCs and credibility; mentor MLOps engineers into senior ICs.

Technical focus

• Expertise in Databricks, Kubernetes, and cloud environments.
• Experience leading ML platform work where reliability and scalability matter.
