Role Overview

Staff Full Stack Software Engineer at Seeq Corporation (remote-first).

You’ll build and evolve complex, end-to-end features across the front-end and back-end—owning problems from design through delivery and helping mentor other engineers.

Responsibilities

Write elegant, extensible, maintainable code and take pride in engineering quality.
Advocate for unit testing and continuous integration; help ensure reliability and maintainability.
Participate in code reviews and contribute via pair programming or similar collaboration practices.
Lead feature development end-to-end across both frontend and backend codebases.
Mentor and provide leadership to scale team effectiveness.
Help build and deploy generative AI infrastructure and/or applications.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in computer science/software engineering or related field.
Years of professional software development experience designing, building, and evolving complex systems.
Strong understanding of software design principles, patterns, and best practices.
Expertise building large React applications with TypeScript.
Backend expertise in one or more: Java, Kotlin, Python.
Experience building generative AI infrastructure and/or applications.
Strong problem-solving/analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proven leadership and ability to mentor junior engineers.
Excellent communication and collaboration in cross-functional environments.
Familiarity with Agile methods and tools such as Scrum or Kanban.

Nice to Have

Experience with databases, distributed computing, and cloud platforms.
Comfort working across the full stack with breadth across system components.
