Staff Frontend Engineer - US (Remote)

Role Overview

Staff Frontend Engineer (Remote, US) joining a leader in the Media space. You’ll own the frontend platform direction, partner cross-functionally to deliver measurable outcomes, and help scale performance in a high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

• Own frontend platform architecture and lead technical direction
• Evolve the design system and component library
• Lead migration from legacy UI libraries to a modern frontend
• Ship AI-native product features using LLMs and real-time data
• Define frontend best practices and engineering standards
• Mentor engineers to elevate frontend capabilities across the organization

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering, with senior/staff-level frontend experience
• Deep expertise in React 18/19, TypeScript, and modern component architecture
• Experience building and maintaining large-scale design systems
• Strong command of Tailwind CSS and utility-first styling
• Hands-on experience with GraphQL and Apollo Client
• Proven track record leading frontend migrations without disruptions

Nice-to-haves / Additional Signals

• Experience with micro-frontend architectures and monorepo tooling
• Experience shaping AI-augmented frontend development practices

Location & Compensation

• Remote (US-based candidates only); no visa sponsorship
• Compensation: $200,000 – $230,000 annually
