About the role
Role Overview
You will join Phantom as a Staff Frontend Engineer (Platform), building and owning shared frontend platform capabilities. The role focuses on shared libraries, quality/testing automation, frontend architecture and performance, and maintaining the design system.
Key Missions
- Build and own shared frontend libraries by creating and maintaining reusable components and libraries.
- Improve frontend testing and CI pipelines by driving test automation and streamlining CI workflows.
- Own frontend performance and architecture, leading optimization efforts and improving render efficiency.
- Improve and maintain the design system.
Requirements
- React & TypeScript
- Styled-components and CSS-in-JS for scalable styling
- Experience with data fetching, caching, and state management
- Strong component architecture, state management, and performance optimization skills
- 5+ years of full-time software engineering experience with a strong frontend focus
- English proficiency
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
Nice-to-haves
- Demonstrated interest in open and community-driven platforms
- Experience in blockchain-based projects
