Staff Developer, Growth

Role Overview

Staff Developer on the Growth Team at 1Password, focused on building net-new self-serve experiences and evolving the systems and integrations that power Product Growth. You’ll act as the technical DRI, owning architectural decisions and coordinating cohesive execution across teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical DRI for new growth capabilities and architecture decisions.
• Build and improve experimentation platforms (feature flagging, A/B frameworks, event pipelines, analytics integrations).
• Design and implement instrumentation strategies with strong data integrity.
• Lead cross-team technical initiatives across frontend, backend, and data systems.
• Drive rapid experimentation and feedback loops across expanding B2B product suites.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Data leaders to ensure experiments are technically sound and strategically aligned.
• Establish guardrails and best practices to maintain velocity without sacrificing performance, reliability, or security.

Requirements

• 8+ years professional software development experience in a production SaaS environment.
• Hands-on experience building/evolving experimentation platforms (feature flagging, A/B, event pipelines, analytics integrations).
• Ability to design scalable instrumentation and ensure high data integrity.
• Experience leading cross-team initiatives spanning frontend, backend, and data.
• Proficiency in Go.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to align engineering, product, and data stakeholders.

Nice to Haves

• Scaling product-led growth in B2B SaaS.
• Experimentation systems in compliance or security-sensitive environments.
• Familiarity with analytics platforms such as Amplitude, Looker, Qualtrics.
