Staff Data Scientist

Role Overview

Staff Data Scientist role supporting a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. The position focuses on data and AI-enabled capabilities, building reporting and surfacing trends to translate analysis into actionable improvements.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer and business problems to frame machine learning (ML) objectives
• Develop and deploy end-to-end ML models
• Build and improve models for marketplace optimization
• Apply statistical methods for experimentation and decision-making
• Define project scope and align stakeholders on technical work
• Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance ML systems
• Mentor junior data scientists and improve modeling practices

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in ML model development and deployment
• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
• Proficient in Python and SQL
• Experience with ML libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably GCP
• Strong grounding in statistical learning and experimental design
• Ability to drive technical strategy and manage timelines

Nice to Haves

• Experience with scalable technology delivery in technology-driven environments

Compensation & Benefits

• $203,000–$280,000 annually
