About the role
Role Overview
Staff Data Product Manager at Twilio (Full remote). You will lead the strategy, development roadmap, and lifecycle of Twilio’s data products and platforms, working at the intersection of data, technology, and business.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for data products that support data-driven decision-making.
- Act as a bridge between data/technical teams (data engineering, data science, analytics) and business stakeholders to translate business needs into data solutions.
- Develop product requirements and user stories focused on:
- Data access
- Usability
- Performance
- Data quality
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure data products are scalable, reliable, and user-friendly.
- Align data strategy with business goals and support execution across multiple initiatives.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of data platforms, data pipelines, and analytics/BI tools (e.g., AWS, Snowflake, dbt, Tableau).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to translate insights into actionable strategy.
- 8+ years experience in product management, engineering, or analytics, with focus on data products, analytics platforms, or data infrastructure (preference for SaaS GTM/sales analytics exposure).
- Experience with Agile product development methodologies.
- Strong project management skills; ability to prioritize and execute multiple initiatives.
- Knowledge of data governance, privacy regulations, and data security standards.
- Experience working with data teams (engineering, analytics, data science).
- Strong communication and collaboration across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- SQL proficiency and familiarity with data modeling concepts.
- Experience supporting GTM technology stacks (e.g., Salesforce, Gong).
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI products (e.g., Claude, Cortex, Glean, Gemini).
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira and Airtable.
- Knowledge of data governance and privacy regulations (e.g., MNPI compliance).
- Advanced degree (MBA or Master’s in Engineering, Analytics, Data Management, or related fields).
