About the role

Role Overview

Join Supermetrics as a Staff Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to own and evolve the core cloud infrastructure platform. You’ll be the technical go-to for reliability, incident analysis, and architectural improvements across the organization.

Responsibilities

Maintain the core infrastructure platform and standard building blocks used by developers to build, deploy, and run code.
Own SLAs and drive improvements to ensure the platform is secure, highly available, and scalable.
Act as a technical resource across the org, bridging infrastructure capabilities and business requirements.
Investigate incident trends and lead improvements to cloud setups.
Lead architecture design sessions.
Keep CI/CD pipelines running smoothly.
Mentor the team and participate in the on-call rotation.

Requirements

Strong fundamentals in networking and Linux, with proven ability to automate using Linux tools.
Extensive experience running large-scale distributed applications in the cloud.
Experience operating Big Data stacks, e.g. Cassandra, Kafka, Spark, or Databricks.
Ability to recognize, prioritize, and drive resolution of technical challenges.
Strong monitoring/observability experience (e.g. Grafana).
Hands-on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience with tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
