Staff Analyst (Care)

Role Overview

Join Hims & Hers as a Staff Data Analyst in the Care Analytics team. You will act as a strategic analytics partner to improve patient care experience, care quality, business performance, and patient outcomes.

Key Missions

• Own high-impact analytical problems in the care domain—from problem definition through execution and recommendations.
• Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical approaches and clear, actionable insights.
• Define and own core Care metrics (KPI frameworks) to ensure consistency and alignment across teams.
• Build dashboards and communicate findings to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Partner with multiple teams to drive measurable improvements in care and operational performance.
• Collaborate closely with data/analytics engineering to model and operationalize analytics.
• Produce insights that connect to operational and strategic decisions.

Requirements

• Python or R for data analysis (e.g., pandas, statistical analysis).
• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and execute in ambiguous environments.
• Strong data modeling experience and collaboration with data/analytics engineering (e.g., dbt).
• Expert SQL skills, including working with large datasets and writing optimized queries.
• Advanced experience with BI tools (e.g., Looker) including scalable dashboards and shared metrics.
• 8+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or a related quantitative field.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to translate complex work into actionable recommendations.
• Strong business acumen and stakeholder influence across levels.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience in telehealth.
• Experience with patient journey, clinical, or operational data.
• Experience leveraging LLMs/AI-assisted tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Cursor) to accelerate analysis.
• Familiarity with subscription-based business models.
