About the role

Role Overview

Sr UX Researcher (Remote) focused on the password management and broader secrets management domain. You will act as the primary customer advocate, driving real product decisions by identifying high-impact problems and ensuring research directly shapes product direction and prioritization.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end UX research for password and secrets management capabilities
Identify, prioritize, and frame meaningful problems across admin and end-user experiences
Conduct fast, high-quality research using a mix of qualitative and quantitative methods
Synthesize findings into actionable recommendations (not just reports)
Influence roadmap and prioritization decisions with evidence and strong points of view
Partner closely with Product, Design, and Engineering on problem definition and solution direction
Advocate for user needs across multiple user types during product discussions
Push back on assumptions and challenge decisions when misaligned with user needs
Operate independently and manage multiple high-priority efforts in a high-velocity environment

Requirements

5–10 years of experience working on complex enterprise or B2B products
Proven ability to drive product decisions through UX research
Strong knowledge of enterprise software and complex administrative workflows
Experience or familiarity with cybersecurity domains, including:
- Password/secrets management
- Credential storage, rotation, and lifecycle workflows
- Usability of security controls (admin and end-user contexts)
Ability to deliver both qualitative and quantitative research
Demonstrated stakeholder influence and ability to navigate differing opinions
Evidence of operating at speed while maintaining quality and delivering actionable insights
Exposure to AI methods for expediting research
