About the role

Role Overview

Sr UX Designer (Senior UX) Design impactful, user-centered digital experiences for learners and educators. Lead UX initiatives from concept through execution, collaborating with product managers, engineers, researchers, and other stakeholders to turn user needs into accessible, intuitive solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead UX and product design initiatives from initial concepts through final implementation using Figma
  • Create high-quality, intuitive experiences aligned with user needs, business goals, and technical requirements
  • Apply accessibility and inclusive design, including WCAG compliance
  • Conduct research, analyze user insights, and use data to inform and validate design decisions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and other teams to define problems, explore solutions, and refine designs
  • Participate in product discussions, design reviews, and brainstorming sessions
  • Present design concepts, decisions, and trade-offs clearly to stakeholders
  • Produce user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and detailed design specifications
  • Ensure consistency with design systems and established UX/product patterns
  • Use AI-powered tools responsibly to improve workflows and efficiency
  • Continuously improve usability by identifying opportunities for enhancements

Requirements

  • Strong foundation in user-centered design, accessibility, and digital product development
  • Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX work (research, ideation, prototyping, and execution)
  • 3–5+ years of UX design experience in collaborative product teams
  • Proficiency in Figma and modern UX design tools
  • Experience designing accessible, inclusive, user-friendly digital experiences
  • Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, information architecture, and usability best practices
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
