About the role
Role overview
Blue River Technology is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) for the ML & Robotics Platform. You will guide the evolution of core technology platforms that provide the engineering foundations for autonomy and automation—supporting teams that build, train, and operate intelligent machines at scale.
Responsibilities
- Own the outcomes and domain for a portfolio of technical programs; convert ambiguous, large-scale initiatives into clear execution plans.
- Create a unified program strategy by weaving cross-organizational interdependencies into a coherent roadmap.
- Evangelize program strategy across core platform engineering teams and the robotics programs that use the foundational tooling.
- Replace passive status reporting with an authoritative bottom-up framework (milestones, sequences, critical paths) for executive leadership.
- Act as a high-velocity roadblock resolver, using program tooling to identify bottlenecks and re-plan to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
- Build “connective tissue” across teams to ensure operational symmetry and goal alignment.
- Shape and contribute to strategic roadmaps for the robotics platform.
- Work cross-functionally to establish best practices and development processes, driving adoption in a dynamic environment.
Requirements
- 7+ years driving complex, cross-functional technical programs.
- Proven ability to build alignment across technical teams without formal authority.
- Strong communication skills, including translating complex architectural concepts into clear, actionable program milestones.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or related field.
Nice-to-haves
- Not specified in the provided posting.
