Role overview

Sr. Software Engineer, Infrastructure to design and evolve the infrastructure foundations for a high-growth technology platform. You’ll own infrastructure solutions end-to-end, build reliable tools and developer platforms, and help engineering teams move faster through scalable systems and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and reliable infrastructure systems and platforms
  • Own infrastructure solutions end-to-end while partnering with cross-functional teams
  • Build, test, deploy, and maintain infrastructure/software using continuous delivery workflows
  • Create scalable infrastructure abstractions that support application development and production operations
  • Contribute to architecture decisions, technical specifications, testing strategies, and rollout plans
  • Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure, automation workflows, and internal engineering platforms
  • Support production systems: troubleshoot issues and ensure reliability, security, and performance
  • Improve developer productivity by building tools and platforms
  • Mentor teammates and promote engineering best practices
  • Collaborate to influence engineering systems direction and infrastructure strategy

Requirements

  • 5+ years building and maintaining production systems
  • Strong production Python experience
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure technologies, including AWS and Terraform
  • Experience with cloud-based deployment systems
  • Ability to design, test, and maintain clean, scalable, reliable code
  • Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and support team growth

Preferred

  • Modern DevOps practices with automation, monitoring, and production reliability
  • Familiarity with frontend ecosystems and frontend infrastructure tools

Location / remote

  • Must be located in an eligible U.S. state for remote employment: California, Georgia, New York, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, or Washington
