About the role

Role Overview

Sr. Full-Stack Engineer for Lyra Health’s In-Care Experience team. You’ll help build the “What’s Next” experience after a member matches with a provider, including onboarding infrastructure, multi-channel notifications, and bespoke care programs.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end full-stack development process (design backend APIs and implement frontend components that consume them)
Build and continuously improve Python and Java-based microservices
Collaborate with engineering teammates on technical designs and solutions
Partner with data science, product management, design, and behavioral health specialists
Follow best practices for quality and security across all phases of software development
Drive continuous technical improvement for platforms and tooling

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
6+ years developing enterprise or consumer web applications
Experience building scalable backend services and APIs using Python and/or Java (Spring)
Experience developing web applications with React.js
Experience with TypeScript and AWS
Prefer experience with state management libraries such as Redux
Proactive and able to work independently
