Role Overview

Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer (AI focus) to develop AI-powered features across products. You will build backend APIs and frontend experiences, while helping shape architecture and mentor peers—especially for AI/ML integration.

Responsibilities

  • Develop AI-powered services used across product lines (backend APIs + frontend interfaces).
  • Mentor junior/mid engineers and act as an informal technical lead for AI/ML integration best practices.
  • Define and execute processes for technical quality, security, performance, and consistency of AI-powered products.
  • Create “big picture” architecture approaches and implementation plans for AI-integrated software.
  • Make end-to-end system design decisions for scalable enterprise AI platforms; translate Product requirements into well-architected solutions.
  • Conduct research to identify requirements and implement innovative solutions for AI-driven products.
  • Stay current with emerging AI/ML technologies and modern development tooling; apply security best practices throughout the AI development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Strong RESTful API development experience in Python and modern frontend development with React, TypeScript, and Vite.
  • Solid understanding of cloud environments and experience deploying full-stack AI applications.
  • Experience integrating AI/ML services into production (e.g., Azure AI, OpenAI, Anthropic).
  • Hands-on AI framework and LLM orchestration knowledge (e.g., LangChain) and prompt engineering best practices.
  • Experience taking AI-powered features from product concepts to production deployment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex AI-related issues using analytical, problem-solving, and creative approaches.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with partners who may not have AI/ML expertise.
  • 6–8 years of related experience (or equivalent) with demonstrated full-stack + AI integration.
  • Kubernetes/containerization and delivery hygiene: Docker, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
  • AI security awareness: AI safety, prompt injection prevention, and LLM security considerations.
  • Familiarity with modern UI frameworks/patterns (e.g., Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui).
  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude).

Nice to Have / Additional Signals

  • Experience with LLM orchestration and LLM security/prompt-injection mitigations in real production systems.

Logistics / Eligibility

  • Remote (M–F, 8:00am–5:00pm)
  • Direct hire / Full-time
  • Eligibility restriction: Open to US Citizens and Permanent Residents only.
