Sr Software Engineer (Angular Developer)

Role Overview

Senior Software Engineer (Angular Developer) joining the Engineering Technology team to build and maintain high-volume, web-based software applications. The role focuses on designing, developing, and modernizing an Angular web application in a cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and upgrade Angular applications using TypeScript and implement rich UI functionality.
• Integrate with REST APIs and develop/modernize frontend features.
• Upgrade applications from older Angular versions to current LTS versions.
• Work across backend services, frontend user interfaces, and integrations with internal systems.
• Use and support development/deployment workflows and enterprise tooling, including:
  • Git, GitHub Enterprise, unit/integration testing, load testing, curl, Postman
  • Troubleshoot components in an enterprise API deployment stack (from DNS upward)
  • Containers
• Cloud and infrastructure experience (preferred AWS) including automated provisioning, account management, serverless tooling, API creation, deployment, load balancing, and security practices.
• Data experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL/Oracle) and NoSQL (e.g., DynamoDB).
• Understand AI tools: benefits, current drawbacks, and how they operate.
• Participate in test-driven development cultures and iterative testing/feedback loops.
• Apply Agile/Lean principles and participate in Agile ceremonies and delivery cycles.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• Acceptable alternative combinations mentioned:
  • Master’s + 2 years
  • Ph.D. + up to 1 year
  • 8 years in a related field

Contract / Assignment Details

• Location: Atlanta, GA (Remote)
• Duration: 9 months
• Pay range: $83/hr - $83.34/hr

• Candidates must be directly contracted by ASK Consulting on their payroll (no subcontracting).
