Sr. Sitecore Front End Web Developer - Publix.com (Remote)

Role Overview

Sr. Sitecore Front End Web Developer (Publix.com) in the Publix Technology team. You’ll join an agile software development team focused on building and enhancing features on Publix.com using Sitecore CMS.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop web solutions using Sitecore CMS, ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Develop and maintain Publix.com web solutions
• Participate in agile/Scrum events
• Contribute to architecture and design discussions with cross-functional teams
• Perform code reviews and provide feedback
• Write unit tests to maintain high code quality
• Lead engineering initiatives when requested
• Maintain, improve, and document systems
• Provide after-hours support when needed

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years designing, developing, and supporting customer-facing e-commerce websites and APIs
• 5+ years with CSS, HTML, and JavaScript
• 3+ years developing websites using Sitecore CMS
• 3+ years developing websites with .NET and C#
• 3+ years using frontend JavaScript frameworks
• 1+ year experience with Agile/Scrum processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Source control with Git and Microsoft Azure DevOps
• Unit testing and automation frameworks
• Experience building scalable systems and performance tuning
• Analytics, feature flags, and experimentation tools (e.g., Google Tag Manager, Optimizely, LaunchDarkly, Adobe Analytics)
• Accessibility compliance experience (WCAG/ADA)
• PowerShell experience
