Role Overview

Sr Scrum Master (Remote US) at SitusAMC, responsible for leading Scrum ceremonies and supporting software development teams to deliver business value to users.

Responsibilities

• Team empowerment & continuous improvement
  • Perform Scrum Master duties for multiple teams
  • Facilitate ceremonies and remove roadblocks
  • Coach teams in self-organization using Scrum or Kanban
  • Support data-informed decision-making and ensure decisions align with priorities
  • Manage dependencies and foster cross-functional collaboration
  • Facilitate retrospectives and feedback to drive continuous improvement
• Tooling & automation
  • Manage Azure DevOps boards to maintain structure and processes
  • Improve productivity by analyzing data and identifying solutions
  • Provide monthly project updates to track the roadmap
  • Advocate for automation to streamline repetitive work
• Resource & capacity management
  • Manage resource allocation and identify bottlenecks/constraints
  • Report on resource utilization and manage capacity
• Project planning & stakeholder coordination
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on goals, scope, and timelines
  • Adjust plans as scope/priorities change
  • Coordinate across team members and stakeholders; act as a liaison to ensure clear communication
  • Provide regular updates on progress, milestones, and challenges
  • Work with the Product Owner, Technical Writers, and the development team to keep documentation current
  • Identify and assess risks and help develop mitigation plans
  • Proactively address issues impacting delivery

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5+ years of industry/relevant experience; typically 1+ years in an Associate-level equivalent role
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and both Agile and traditional project management practices
• Prior experience applying Scrum/Agile in enterprise-level application development
• Experience overseeing multi-functional teams (10–15 members) across Developers, Business Analyst, and QA
• Experience with Azure DevOps (preferred) or Jira for project management

• Agile certifications such as PMI-ACP, CSM, or SAFe
