Sr. Scrum Master (remote)

Role Overview

Sr. Scrum Master at Claritev, serving as a servant leader for one or more highly collaborative Agile development teams. You will help teams apply and continuously improve Agile ways of working, remove impediments, and enable predictable, self-organized delivery—working in an environment that embraces change and ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies for two or more Scrum teams and/or programs (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives)
• Lead program/team-level sessions including PI Planning, dependency alignment, and execution workshops
• Enable high-performing, empowered, self-organized teams; drive continuous improvement
• Identify, track, and manage cross-team dependencies, risks, and impediments to ensure continuity of delivery
• Coach teams on Agile delivery best practices and foster an Agile mindset and culture of continuous improvement
• Measure team delivery maturity and performance; review metrics with the team to identify improvement opportunities
• Define, track, and report KPIs, metrics, and program health with actionable insights from sprint/program analysis
• Provide clear communication to leadership/executives (status, risks, key decisions)
• Support release planning and deployment activities and coordinate across teams and stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives at team and program levels
• Participate in the Scrum Master Community of Practice
• Apply change management principles and coach teams through change

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science, or 4 years of related experience
• 5+ years experience as a Scrum Master, including leading multiple Agile teams and/or programs
• Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience required
• Hands-on experience with Jira in an IT environment

Nice to Have

• Scrum Master certification (desired, not required)
• Experience with other Agile approaches such as Kanban
