Sr. React / JavaScript UI Developer

Role Overview

Concept Plus is hiring a Senior React / JavaScript UI Developer to support an enterprise-scale application running in secure client environments under DDIL (Denied, Degraded, Intermittent, Limited) communications conditions. The role blends deep frontend development with security-minded practices for federal programs, including Zero Trust and DevSecOps.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain front-end development checklists, UI standards, and operational guides.
• Design, build, and optimize complex React UI components (hooks, context, lifecycle, advanced state patterns).
• Build and maintain Vue components, and assist with migration/dual-framework integration.
• Implement PWAs with offline-first capabilities aligned to DDIL requirements.
• Develop Electron-based desktop applications for cross-platform operations.
• Implement Node.js modules and backend-for-frontend (BFF) patterns.
• Architect frontend state management using Redux, Zustand, React Query, or similar.
• Build robust async workflows for secure REST APIs using Promises/async-await.
• Develop UI features in TypeScript with type-safe interactions.
• Use and configure bundlers/build tools such as Webpack, Vite, or esbuild.
• Write automated tests: unit, integration, and E2E (Jest, Cypress, React Testing Library).
• Create accessible, performant, responsive UIs using HTML5/CSS3 and modern CSS frameworks.
• Collaborate with UX/HCD teams to translate wireframes into component-based implementations.
• Work in CI/CD and Git workflows (branching, PRs, peer reviews).
• Apply secure coding aligned with Zero Trust and DoD cybersecurity policies.
• Support DevSecOps initiatives (pipeline testing, security gates, static/dynamic scanning).
• Ensure UI architecture aligns with MOSA (Modular Open Systems Approach).
• Support ATO (Authority To Operate) security documentation/tasks.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives).
• Provide Tier 1–3 UI support for defects, field feedback, and enhancements.

Required Qualifications

• US Citizen; ability to obtain and/or maintain a government clearance.
• 7+ years professional frontend development; 3+ years specifically in React and/or Vue.
• Bachelor’s degree (field not fully shown in the posting excerpt).
