Responsibilities

  • Act as a subject matter expert in signal integrity design, simulation, and validation across product development cycles
  • Define signal integrity design performance/functional requirements for new products
  • Perform signal integrity simulations for multiple high-speed standards, including selecting the correct simulation methodology and understanding interface criteria
  • Review PCB design schematics and layouts; provide actionable recommendations based on reviews and simulation results
  • Guide connector design and component qualifications from a signal integrity perspective
  • Make data-driven decisions to improve product functionality and performance
  • Own signal integrity performance from initial analysis through prototype fabrication/evaluation and production verification testing
  • Tackle complex design issues using simulation tools to reach successful designs

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)

  • Ability to interpret simulation and lab data and identify/fix issues
  • Familiarity with PCB design, fabrication, and assembly
  • Fluent English (verbal and written)
  • Ability to work effectively in a global, distributed environment (different time zones)

Nice to have

  • Experience collaborating within cross-functional teams (mechanical, manufacturing, operations) on leading-edge product designs
