Sr. Program Manager

Role Overview

Senior Program Manager for a client in Remote CT, in the financial services/retirement space. This is a hands-on role focused on leading and executing multiple complex projects/programs with high risk and organizational change.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of accountability for project/program planning, day-to-day execution, implementation, readiness, and reporting.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects (typically $2M–$4M), and larger programs (typically $5M–$15M) with scope subject to change.
• Oversee project tasks and controls across portfolio planning, project planning, and delivery to ensure on-time, in-scope, quality outcomes within scope and budget.
• Manage and monitor resources and coordinate work across multiple IT and/or business areas.
• Apply expert project/program management practices to deliverables, processes, and stakeholder communications.
• Apply and contribute to client delivery methodologies, standards, and tools.
• May provide management/oversight for a business or IT portfolio.

Requirements

• ~5 years of project/program management experience, preferably with retirement companies.
• Proficient in Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of project management software, specifically Planview or Clarity.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Nice-to-Haves / Background

• Prior experience with financial services/insurance/retirement organizations (e.g., Empower, Fidelity, Lincoln Financial, Travelers, etc.).
• Ability to ramp up quickly in retirement financial services.

Compensation

• $72.36–$86.96 per hour.
