Sr. Product Designer II

Role Overview

Senior Product Designer (Sr. Product Designer II) on Addepar’s Investment Analytics team. You’ll shape the future of investment analytics by bringing clarity, user empathy, and design craftsmanship to complex financial data visualizations and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own design end-to-end for projects, collaborating with cross-functional agile teams to deliver cohesive product experiences.
• Improve product experience through interaction design and data visualization.
• Lead through ambiguity and 0-1 thinking, taking new complex ideas from concept to execution.
• Use user research and data to inform designs and influence product prioritization, strategies, and roadmaps.
• Contribute to the Addepar Product Language design system (expansion, evolution, and adoption).
• Partner with Investment Researchers, Product Managers, UX Researchers, Designers, and Engineers to deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Seek feedback, and mentor other designers; provide thoughtful design feedback.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Product Design/Interaction Design/UX Design, preferably in senior or lead capacity.
• Strong domain expertise in investment management (asset management, wealth management, institutional finance, or similar).
• Proven experience designing B2B SaaS / enterprise products and sophisticated web UI for enterprise users.
• Portfolio demonstrating user-centered design and high design craftsmanship.
• Ability to distill complex use cases into scalable, optimized solutions—especially involving complex data.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Self-starter mindset; thrives in fast-paced agile environments.
• Meticulous attention to detail and consistency.
• Expert in Figma (primary design tool).

Nice to Have

• Direct experience in finance/wealth technology and familiarity with the investment analytics/trading workflow context.
